Innovabot 2026: Robotics Competition Challenges Young People to Solve Real-World Problems

Fundación Paraguaya has launched the Innovabot 2026 Robotics Competition, an initiative designed to inspire young Paraguayans to explore technology and create innovative solutions with social and economic impact.

The competition is open to students aged 14 to 19 from across the country. Participants will be challenged to design and build robotic solutions that address real problems faced by microentrepreneurs, farmers, artisans, and self-employed workers.

The program aims to strengthen skills in robotics, innovation, programming, teamwork, and creative problem-solving. Around 300 young people are expected to take part, turning their ideas into projects that can improve productivity and create new opportunities for local communities.

Under the theme «Innovabot: Robots for Entrepreneurship,» the 2026 edition encourages students to identify real needs and develop technologies that help make everyday work easier, increase productivity, and generate positive social impact.

Teams must include three to five students and be guided by a coach or teacher who is at least 18 years old. Each school may register up to ten teams. Participants can compete in one of four categories:

  • Agriculture and artisan production
  • Commerce and small businesses
  • Services and informal work
  • Environment and the circular economy

Registration is open until June 30. To participate, teams must complete the official registration form with the required information. During the competition, participants will also have access to a series of webinars that will provide guidance and technical support as they develop their projects.

Teams can register through the organization’s WhatsApp at:

The competition will conclude on September 5, when teams will present their prototypes to a panel of judges made up of experts in technology, education, and entrepreneurship. Projects will be evaluated based on innovation, social impact, technical quality, functionality, and teamwork.

Through this initiative, Fundación Paraguaya reaffirms its commitment to entrepreneurial education and to preparing a new generation of innovators who can use technology to solve real-world challenges and contribute to Paraguay’s sustainable development.
