Every November 11, Paraguay honors its entrepreneurs, individuals who, with vision and determination, choose each day to forge their own path and contribute to the country’s economic growth. Fundación Paraguaya, with almost four decades of experience, has been a crucial player in this mission, driving programs that reach thousands across the nation. From school-aged children to female heads of households, their initiatives are designed to eradicate multidimensional poverty, empowering each person with skills and opportunities to achieve their dreams.
Among its flagship programs are the Semáforo Olympics and the Entrepreneurial School, which nurture innovative thinking and leadership abilities from a young age. The Junior Achievement Paraguay program, implemented in partnership with this prestigious global organization, provides comprehensive training in financial and business skills for teenagers. Additionally, the Women’s Committee and the AWE Academy for Women Entrepreneurs support women in becoming leaders in their communities through the development of their own ventures.
Fundación Paraguaya also operates a unique model of self-sustaining agricultural schools, where young people from vulnerable areas learn to manage productive projects with a practical approach. This model allows students not only to gain academic knowledge but also to experience firsthand how to turn an idea into a successful rural enterprise, generating income for their families and communities.
Likewise, with the “Cuentas Contigo” program, the organization contributes to the financial inclusion of historically marginalized sectors. Thanks to this program, women and families gain access to banking services and training that provide them with autonomy and economic stability, strengthening their role in society.
