A heartfelt event marked the closing of a community development project in the village of Guyrati, celebrating the economic, social, and community growth achieved through the joint efforts of Hidrovías do Brasil and Fundación Paraguaya.
The event was the culmination of several weeks of collaborative work that included training in entrepreneurship, first aid, and community leadership, with active participation from local women. During the ceremony, participants received certificates in recognition of their commitment and contributions to collective growth.

The project also directly supported local fishermen by providing fishing kits aimed at improving their working conditions and boosting a traditional economic activity of the area.
In a gesture of support for education, the Stella Maris school received school supplies, newly inaugurated gender-separated restrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen—enhancing the learning environment for students and teachers alike.
This initiative, implemented by Fundación Paraguaya with the support of Hidrovías do Brasil, reflects a strong commitment to social inclusion and sustainable development in riverside communities, empowering local capacities for a future with greater opportunities.
