Biocomplejo Petricor and Fundación Paraguaya implement the poverty stoplight for the benefit of their employees

In a significant event held in the city of Caazapá, Biocomplejo Petricor and Fundación Paraguaya launched the Poverty Stoplight for Employees, a program designed to improve the quality of life of workers through the Poverty Stoplight methodology.

The event was attended by Fundación Paraguaya’s Executive Director, Martín Burt, and Biocomplejo Petricor’s President, Raúl Gauto, who signed a cooperation agreement reinforcing the company’s commitment to the well-being of its more than 80 employees. During the event, the Poverty Stoplight methodology was introduced, and surveys were conducted among employees to identify their primary needs and develop personalized improvement strategies.

This program enables employees to assess their socioeconomic situation in key areas such as income, education, health, and housing, providing them with concrete tools to overcome challenges and enhance their quality of life. As a result, the initiative is expected to generate a positive impact not only on workers and their families but also on workplace productivity and morale.

«Improving the living conditions of our employees is a fundamental pillar for the company’s sustainable development. A worker who feels supported and has better opportunities is also a more motivated and productive worker,» said Raúl Gauto, President of Biocomplejo Petricor.

Meanwhile, Martín Burt highlighted the importance of this partnership, stating that «the Poverty Stoplight has proven to be a powerful tool for empowering people and helping them escape poverty through solutions they create themselves.»

With this initiative, Biocomplejo Petricor positions itself as a socially responsible company, embracing a business development model that combines economic success with employee well-being.
