Fundación Paraguaya has received a donation of four drones, which will be incorporated into the training of students enrolled in the Agricultural High School program at its Self-Sustaining Agricultural Schools in Cerrito and Belén. This contribution strengthens technical education through the use of cutting-edge technology applied to agriculture.
At the Cerrito Agricultural School, students learn by doing: they produce, integrate technology, and now use precision drones as part of their training process. This technology enables them to develop key competencies for modern agriculture, aligned with current market demands and more efficient, sustainable production practices.
The drones are used to detect fire hotspots and high-risk areas, inspect damaged perimeter fencing, supervise large land areas in less time, measure and monitor crops, assess crop conditions, identify pests or diseases at an early stage, and optimize irrigation planning. These tools, now widely used in the agricultural sector, help improve production control, reduce risks, and support data-driven decision-making.
Through this donation, students gain access not only to state-of-the-art technology but also to hands-on skills in innovation, monitoring, and agricultural management, expanding their employment opportunities and entrepreneurial potential.
Fundación Paraguaya extends its gratitude to Luis Breuer (@luisbreuer21) for believing in young people and supporting their future through the donation of these four drones. His commitment reaffirms that collaboration between the private sector and education is essential to driving sustainable development.
We believe in an education that transforms lives: learning by doing, producing, and creating opportunities.
