Over 200 young people, eager to improve, participated in the Entrepreneurs’ Forum Paraguay 2024

The Paraguay 2024 Entrepreneurs’ Forum (FEP) was organized by Fundación Paraguaya and held at the Hotel Escuela Cerrito, with the participation of more than 200 young people from across the country, who received three days of training motivating them to improve every day and pursue their dreams.

The central theme of FEP 2024 was: robotics and artificial intelligence, under the title “Let’s connect”.

Luis Fernando Sanabria, General Manager of Fundación Paraguaya, and Lorena Soto, Manager of the Entrepreneurial Education program of Fundación Paraguaya, were in charge of the opening remarks. Both praised the enthusiasm of the young participants and the importance of fostering their dreams, seeking a bright future for themselves, their families and the country.

“The FEP began 24 years ago, partnered with Junior Achievement, as an initiative for young people to have fun, while creating connections, developing new ideas and growing,” said Lorena Soto.

“Artificial intelligence is here to stay, and just as none of us remember what the world was like without the Internet, in 5 years no one will remember what the world was like without artificial intelligence,” added Luis Fernando Sanabria, thus kicking off the three days of training with presentations on robotics, artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship.

Some of the panelists invited to the FEP were: Alejandro Carrizosa, co-founder and director of Hydrate; Hernán Paraiso, CEO of Equifax Paraguay; and Osmar Quiñónez, founder and Executive Director of Piensa Latam; Vanessa Manzur, CEO of Fábrica de Hacedoras; Gary Servín, Engineer at Locus Robotics; Eliana Valdez, specialist in innovation and development; Marcelo Cañete, Coach Director of Habilidarte Entrenamientos; and Alcides Torres, Coordinator of the Entrepreneurs’ Department of the Polytechnic of the Universidad Nacional de Asunción (UNA).

The FEP was possible thanks to the support of important firms such as Hydrate, Financiera Paraguayo-Japonesa, Coca Cola Paraguay-Paresa Paraguay, Panal Seguros, Tupí, Personal and Equifax.
