In a ceremony held on Wednesday, May 27, at the Fundación Paraguaya offices in Concepción, the new Technical Forestry Baccalaureate was officially launched at the Belén Self-Sustainable Agricultural School. The presentation was led by Celsa Acosta, the educational institution’s general director, who highlighted the milestone this new specialization represents for the youth and the productive sector of the country’s northern region.
With the issuance of Resolution No. 2785/26 by the Ministry of Education and Sciences (MEC), the new technical program officially, legally, and with national validity enters into effect for the 2026 academic year. Following this addition, the Belén School will officially offer two technical baccalaureate tracks in its curriculum.
Practical and Technological Training
The curriculum of this new baccalaureate is built on an educational model that complements theoretical training with intensive field practice within real production units. Furthermore, students will receive training in highly demanded, modern technological areas, such as Computer Science, Robotics, and Drone Management applied to the forestry sector. Representatives from the institution noted that the goal is to prepare technicians capable of successfully entering the labor market under sustainable development criteria.
Social Inclusion Scholarships
As part of the launch, it was announced that Fundación Paraguaya will provide 10 full scholarships for the first ten young people to enroll from the northern region of the country. This initiative is exclusively aimed at students from low-income families who have completed the ninth grade, are between 15 and 17 years old, and demonstrate a commitment to continuing their education.

The registration period for the 2026 cycle is now formally open. As part of the documentary admission requirements, interested applicants must submit a photocopy of their national identity card and their corresponding birth certificate.
