The Stoplight Business Network helps transform well-being into productivity

Lack of savings to deal with emergencies, mobility problems getting to work, difficulties accessing healthcare, or a lack of knowledge of basic tools are everyday situations experienced by employees across companies. These circumstances directly affect job performance, absenteeism, turnover, and, consequently, business profitability.

With this vision, the Stoplight Business Network was created in 2013, an initiative promoted by Fundación Paraguaya that supports organizations of all sizes in better understanding their employees’ realities and turning that information into concrete actions that strengthen both people and the company.

Today, the Network brings together more than 250 companies in 13 countries that use the Poverty Elimination Stoplight, an internationally recognized methodology that identifies employees’ main needs through a comprehensive assessment, prioritizes challenges, and implements solutions that generate measurable impact.

The results support this approach:

• 78% less absenteeism.

• 51% less turnover.

• 22% greater participation.

• 23% higher profitability.

• 70% greater well-being.

• 18% higher productivity.

“What you don’t measure costs you.” This is the starting point of the methodology. Many times, a company’s hidden costs are not found in its processes or technology, but in personal circumstances that affect the well-being and performance of team members.

The process is simple and strategic: measure, diagnose, prioritize, and intervene. Based on real data, the company moves away from acting on intuition and begins making evidence-based decisions to strengthen employee engagement.

More than a diagnostic tool, the Stoplight makes it possible to build a people-centered organizational culture, where the company’s growth goes hand in hand with the human development of those who are part of it.
