Fundación Paraguaya and the Paraguayan Human Resources Association (APARH) have signed an interinstitutional cooperation agreement to promote initiatives focused on workplace well-being, quality-of-life measurement, and strengthening human talent management within organizations.
The agreement will introduce APARH members to the Poverty Stoplight, an innovative methodology developed by Fundación Paraguaya that measures people’s quality of life through 50 indicators across six key dimensions. The tool identifies each individual’s main deprivations and strengths, enabling employees—on a voluntary and confidential basis—to create a personalized action plan to improve their quality of life.
When applied in the corporate environment, the Poverty Stoplight provides organizations with aggregated data that supports the design of workplace well-being, talent development, and organizational culture initiatives, generating benefits for both employees and companies.
The agreement was signed at Fundación Paraguaya’s Board Room, formalizing a collaborative relationship that both institutions have been building over the past several years. APARH President Freddy Ariel Fernández González emphasized that the partnership is driven by a shared purpose: placing people at the center of organizations. He added that having access to a tool such as the Poverty Stoplight represents an important opportunity to further strengthen human talent management.
«For those of us working in human resources, having such an innovative, versatile, and reliable tool enables us to create a meaningful impact within our organizations and, above all, in people’s lives. This partnership represents a valuable opportunity to continue advancing talent management while always keeping people at the center.»
Fernández also noted that APARH brings together more than 300 individual members and approximately 50 corporate member organizations, all working collaboratively to promote best practices in human talent management across Paraguay.
Luis Fernando Sanabria, General Manager of Fundación Paraguaya, highlighted the essential role that businesses play in creating a society with greater opportunities.
«We believe that organizations can be powerful agents of social transformation. When a company understands the realities its employees face and has the tools to support their personal development, it not only improves their well-being but also strengthens productivity, engagement, and organizational culture. This partnership with APARH will allow us to reach more companies with a methodology that has already demonstrated its impact both in Paraguay and internationally.»
Through this agreement, both institutions will jointly promote training, outreach, and implementation of the Poverty Stoplight among organizations interested in strengthening the overall well-being of their employees and advancing a people-centered approach to talent management.
