A total of 175 students received their certificates after successfully completing their training at Instituto Belén during a graduation ceremony held at the institution’s campus in the district of Belén, Concepción Department.
The ceremony was attended by members of the Board of the Fundación De La Sobera, the organization that, together with Fundación Paraguaya, supports the creation and development of Instituto Belén. Representatives of Fundación Paraguaya, officials from Paraguay’s Ministry of Education and Sciences, family members, and special guests also participated in the event, joining the graduates in celebrating this important academic milestone.
The graduates completed training in a variety of technical programs, including Basic and Intermediate Office Computing, Advanced Office Computing, Mobile Phone and Mobile Device Repair, Industrial Safety and Hygiene Assistance, Forestry Management Assistance, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology, and Basic Residential Electrical Installation. Through these programs, they acquired practical skills that strengthen their opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship.
One of the most significant moments of the ceremony was the presentation of a tractor donated by Fundación De La Sobera to the institution. This valuable contribution will help strengthen the Institute’s hands-on training activities and support its ongoing educational programs.
During the ceremony, speakers emphasized the importance of technical education as a pathway to creating opportunities, fostering local development, and improving the quality of life of families. In this context, Fundación Paraguaya and Fundación De La Sobera reaffirmed their commitment to continuing to promote initiatives that expand access to quality education and greater opportunities for young people in the Department of Concepción.
With this new graduating class, Instituto Belén continues to strengthen its role as a center for technical education, preparing students to enter the workforce, launch their own businesses, and contribute to the sustainable development of their communities.
